Minister Prado: Peasant Movement resumes its strategic role to build productive Venezuela

The Minister of Popular Power for Communes, Social Movements and Urban Agriculture, Ángel Prado, affirmed that the Peasant Movement is resuming its actions and work with renewed strength, reaffirming its strategic role in the construction of productive and sovereign Venezuela.

In this context, he stressed that, together with the leadership of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, the peasant people will continue to sustain the country's food security and sovereignty.

In the state of Aragua, where the National President led the Founding Congress of the National Peasant Union Ezequiel Zamora (UNCEZ), Prado specified that the Peasant Movement is recognized as an active part of the Nation's military force.

In this regard, he confirmed that the peasants and peasants of Venezuela, “firmly assume their commitment to the defense of the Homeland against aggressions and threats by North American imperialism.”
