“Venezuela is not a threat, it is a country that guarantees peace,” said the Minister for Communes and Social Movements, Ángel Prado, during telephone contact.

Prado emphasized that the Venezuelan people are fully aware of their role in defending national sovereignty and collective peace.

“Today is a day of patriotism. The organized people have responded to the call, regardless of any ideology or militancy, to recover educational infrastructure, strengthen the health system and advance in the consolidation of the Housing Mission,” he said.

Prado emphasized that Venezuela maintains a peaceful attitude and is willing to build friendly and cooperative relations with all countries in the world.

“We are not looking for conflicts or wars, but we are clear that we are a nation with great natural resources, and we will not allow imperialism to control them. We have the right to develop with our own capacities: military, peasant, youth and community,” he stressed.

He thanked the countries that have spoken out in defense of Venezuela in the face of threats from the United States government.

“This solidarity demonstrates the brotherhood that exists between peoples. Venezuela is willing to collaborate with all governments, always with respect and mutual benefit,” he stressed.
