Ministry for Transportation announced partial closure of the Caracas-La Guaira highway for maintenance

The Ministry of Popular Power for Transportation announced that, from Monday 21 to Saturday, April 26, maintenance work will be carried out on the Boquerón I and II tunnels, located on the Caracas-La Guaira highway, which will require partial road closures during night hours.

In this regard, he specified that traffic will be restricted in both directions from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., with the aim of facilitating the carrying out of the work and ensuring the optimal functioning of the tunnels.

The Ministry also urged drivers to consider this night closure when planning their trips and to take the necessary measures to avoid inconvenience.

He stressed that these actions are part of government efforts to improve road infrastructure and provide safety to those who travel through this important connecting artery.
