A circus blockbuster that promises to dazzle the Venezuelan public in the coming weeks, announced the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture, with the participation of more than 130 people, including actors, creative team and technical team.
The show, directed by Jericó Montilla, will have the collaboration of the National Dance Company (CND), the National Theater Company (CNT) and the Venezuelan National Circus (CNV), to offer a comprehensive and captivating staging.
“It is a project that touches on current issues, which seeks to reflect on social injustices worldwide and is a very good opportunity for Venezuelan artists to raise their voices on the subject of war,” explained Montilla, who indicated that the preparation of the project has required significant documentary research.
He also reported that the trials began two weeks ago and are being carried out with great intensity. “This is a production that requires a lot of training and significant physical activity,” he said, highlighting the support of the choreographer Hazel Leal and the director of CNV, Niky García, for the training of the cast.
“Mixing these teams technically, artistically and interpretively is one of the challenges we have as a Ministry of Culture because we are committed to the integrity of the interpreter,” he reflected.
This ambitious, large-scale artistic project seeks to move the Venezuelan public and create an unforgettable experience that will highlight the country's talent and cultural richness.
