Ministry of Culture opened call for the International Progressive Theatre Festival 2025

Until next Saturday, April 5, the national call for the International Progressive Theater Festival (FITP) in 2025 will be open for theater groups from all over Venezuela that want to participate through the website www.fesitpven.com.ve.

The call allows theater proposals to choose to show their works in the capital region, as well as in other states of the country, at the most important theatrical festival in Venezuela and one of the strongest in Latin America, the National Theater Company of Venezuela (CNT) reported on its Instagram account.

The Progressive Theater Festival is a cultural event organized by the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture through the National Theater Company (CNT), seeks to promote and disseminate plays that address social, political and cultural issues from a critical and transformative perspective.

This theatrical festival is characterized by its commitment to social justice, equality and the defense of human rights, through the use of theater as a tool to reflect on contemporary challenges and problems.

Interested parties who have works related to these themes must enter the website and fill out a form with information about the theater group, work to be applied for, technical details, synopsis, artistic file, among other aspects that they will have to enter in several steps to then send their proposals effective.

Likewise, www.fesitpven.com.ve shows the regulations established by the Festival Organizing Committee for those interested in being part of the theatrical party.
