Ministry of Ecosocialism will build nurseries for 10 million seedlings in Lara

The Minister of Popular Power for Ecosocialism, Josué Alejandro Lorca Vega, urged companies dedicated to the manufacture, manufacture and commercialization of coal to comply with environmental agreements, calling for starting the construction of nurseries in Lara.

Lorca Vega participated in a meeting with artisanal charcoal producers in the town of Rio Tocuyo in the Pedro León Torres municipality (Carora) with whom he exchanged ideas for the protection and conservation of natural resources, on Friday, January 24, 2025.

Regional press reported that as guidance to private, public and community entities dedicated to the production of coal, he launched the proposal to build two large nurseries, each with the planting of 5 million seedlings that would later be used for the reforestation plans of intervened land.

He emphasized that one of the nurseries is with private companies and the second nursery will be run by the Environmental Movement and will be located in the Cerro Saroche National Park.
