Ministry of Education began deployment to search for children and young people who are outside the education system

Through his Telegram channel, the Minister of Popular Power for Education, Héctor Rodríguez, reported that his portfolio began deploying to search for children and young people who are still out of the school system, as well as the rehabilitation of the country's educational infrastructures.

He explained that this first task, which will be to promote the admission of infants and adolescents to educational institutions, an initiative will be carried out until August 16 of the current year, for which the teams will be formed and the diagnosis will be carried out by community and street.

“From the 18th to the 30th census to locate, characterize and record each case,” he highlighted and noted that registrations in schools will take place from September 1 to 8 of this year.

“Once enrolled in their schools, the support and sponsorship of the communities for each student is essential to guarantee their development and integral growth,” he said.

As for the second task, he specified that in combination with the national, regional, municipal and communal governments, they will recover, as well as the maintenance of all schools with the goal of providing optimal spaces to students for the new school year 2025 - 2026.
