Ministry of National Commerce inspected establishments to verify compliance with the BCV rate

The Ministry of Popular Power of National Commerce, through the National Superintendency for the Defense of Socioeconomic Rights (SUNDDE), was deployed on a verification tour of the official exchange rate established by the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV) in more than 200 commercial premises that live in the Sambil Shopping Center, in Caracas.

The tour was accompanied by Minister Luis Villegas, who together with public servants verified the compliance of commercial transactions in foreign currency, as well as their publication in the establishments that live in said Shopping Center.

They also supervised that the crimes of speculation and conditioning contemplated in the Organic Law on Fair Prices (LOPJ) were not committed.

On the other hand, SUNDDE prosecutors dealt with complaints and complaints in an expeditious manner and provided advice on the services offered by the Superintendency through the Fair Points located in the La Candelaria Shopping Center.
