MINTUR opened International Business Roundtable in Caracas

The Ministry of Popular Power for Tourism (MINTUR) inaugurated this Thursday, August 14, the International Business Roundtable at the Caracas Polyhedron, an event aimed at encouraging investment and expanding tourism development in Venezuela.
The event, which will take place from August 14 to 16, involves more than 200 international guests from 15 countries, highlighting the growing global interest in the country's vast tourism potential. Participants include tour operators, travel agencies, businessmen and investors, both domestic and international.
The event was chaired by the Minister of Tourism, Leticia Gómez, who was accompanied by the Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Trade, Coromoto Godoy, together with the Minister of National Trade, Luis Antonio Villegas, the president of the Instituto Marca País, Daniella Cabello, and representatives of the union.
This International Business Roundtable is positioned as a crucial component of the Plan of the Seven Transformations (7Q), promoted by the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, to strengthen the first engine of the national economy.
This international meeting provides a unique platform for companies from the public and private sectors to submit business proposals and establish cooperative relationships with various nations.
Among the countries represented at the event are Algeria, Azerbaijan, Brazil, China, Colombia, Cuba, Curaçao, Iraq, Iran, Mexico, Russia, Türkiye, Uruguay and Vietnam.
The agenda for attendees includes a varied list of activities, including bilateral meetings, presentations of impressive national tourist destinations, symposiums and vibrant cultural events.
The comprehensive program is intended to enrich the experience of all participants and to cultivate an environment conducive to commercial success.
