A new day of the National Surgical Plan benefited 60 women from the Valles del Tuy with obstetric interventions, developed at the General Hospital of the Valles del Tuy Simón Bolívar, in Ocumare del Tuy and at the Comprehensive Diagnostic Center of Las Brisas, in Cúa, Miranda state.
In this regard, Guillermo Conde, director of Health in the Tomás Lander municipality, stressed that these days guarantee access to specialized health services for Tuyera women, while adding that these operations respond to the previous recruitment of patients in different specialties.
Among the procedures performed are: tubal ligations, resection of uterine fibroids where benign tumors were treated that may affect women's health and well-being.
“Lipomas were also removed, removing accumulations of subcutaneous fat and hysterectomies, which were performed in cases of specific uterine pathologies,” he added.
