Miranda won four gold medals in the 3rd Valid National Modern Pentathlon

With four gold medals, the state of Miranda stood out in the Third Valid National Modern Pentathlon, a sporting event that took place at the headquarters of the National Sports Institute (IND), Capital District.
Neiverson Quintana, in the U-17 category; Sofía Trujillo, in the U-9; Sabina Tovar and Paola Nuñez, both in the U-13, were the athletes who won the highest distinction in the event that brought together the best 210 athletes from eleven states of the country, according to the Gobernación de Miranda press.
The Third Valid National Modern Pentathlon was organized by the Venezuelan Federation of the discipline, in which children and young people from the categories U-9, U-11, U-13, U-15, U-17 and +17 participated.
Fencing, swimming, pistol shooting, obstacle and cross-country races were carried out, with the objective of scoring points for the national ranking and evaluating the seedbeds of this type of sport.
