Miranda won the title in the men's Under-14 National Basketball Championship

The Mirandina under-14 basketball team won the title of champion in the national specialty held in Barinas, after beating Capital District 59 to 44 in the final.
The most valuable player in the final match was Samuel Gulloso, after scoring 18 points, 17 rebounds, one block and 25 points.
The third place went to the state of Lara, surpassing the Anzoátegui delegation in the bronze medal match, according to Prensa Gobernación de Miranda.
Meanwhile, the girls from Miranda's national basketball team, U14 category, also excelled in the women's championship, being runners-up, after falling in the final to their counterpart Lara, 65 to 44.
The event also took place in the llanera entity, and in which the Capital District quintet placed third on the podium, after beating Anzoátegui in the bronze medal match.
The championship included teams from Mérida, Cojedes, Sucre, Delta Amacuro, Táchira, Nueva Esparta, Carabobo, Portuguesa, Falcón, Apure, Zulia, Monagas, Aragua, Bolivar, Yaracuy, La Guaira, Barinas, Capital District and Miranda.
