During a popular assembly held on the main street of the community of Barola, in the state of Miranda, the Bolivarian Integral Base Committee (CBBI) was formed, within the framework of the national initiative promoted by the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV).

The day had a massive participation of residents and militants, who directly elected the spokespersons who will form part of this new organizational structure.

The constitution of the CBBI responds to the strategic line of the PSUV to strengthen territorial organization and collective management in all the streets of the country. As established by the party's National Directorate, each committee must be composed of at least nine spokespersons, elected by secret ballot in grassroots meetings, with the objective of replacing the individual leadership model with community working groups.

During the meeting in Barola, the enthusiasm of the militancy and the commitment of the participants in the integral defense of the homeland, the promotion of national values and the strengthening of the local political structure were highlighted. This initiative is part of an internal restructuring of the PSUV, with the objective of consolidating the party's presence in the 264,000 streets of the country where there is revolutionary leadership.

The CBBIs will have as their main mission the articulation of the PSUV, grassroots political formation, community activation and preparation for scenarios of prolonged resistance. In addition, it seeks to integrate young people from the age of 15, promoting their active participation in local decisions.
