Misión Alimentación distributed more than seven tons of protein in Mérida

The Food Mission, together with the Venezuelan Food Producer and Distributor (PDVAL), delivered more than seven tons of protein products to the Rangel municipality of the state of Mérida.

The operation benefited 3,538 families belonging to eight Community Circuits located in the Mucuchí, San Rafael, La Toma and Cacute parishes, as part of actions to strengthen the provision of food in the entity.

Despite the effects of rainfall in the area, President Nicolás Maduro maintains his territorial deployment to ensure food supply, in accordance with his social care guidelines.

Institutions are still active in the Andean states, given the consequences generated by the recent rains, according to a press release from the Government of Mérida.
