Mohayerani: Iran is indifferent to the results of the US elections

The spokeswoman for the Iranian Government, Fateme Mohayerani, said that the Persian nation maintains a strong leadership and that it does not depend on the electoral results of the United States.

After learning about Donald Trump's victory as president of the United States, Mohayerani indicated that it doesn't matter to Iran that the newly-elected president won, since as much as he and Kamala Harris represent the same hegemonic interests, according to a note from Hispantv.

“It doesn't matter who is president of the United States, because our plans are already made. Because of the sanctions imposed for more than four decades, Iran has grown stronger and we are not worried about Trump's re-election. We don't see any difference between these two. Sanctions have strengthened Iran's internal power and we have the capacity to face new sanctions,” he emphasized.
