More than 1,000 children from Larense received training on robotics and cybersecurity

The Infocentro Lara robotics team was successfully deployed in the western area of Barquisimeto, to bring knowledge to more than 1,300 students at the Liceo Capital Rudecindo Canelón.

The day, aimed at students from the first to the fifth year of high school, aimed to bring new technologies and digital education closer to the student community.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology, during the activity, young people participated in a dynamic educational robotics workshop, where they had the opportunity to learn the basic principles of robotics and witness demonstrations with advanced prototypes, created with the Ultimate 2.0 kit.

In addition to robotics, the Infocentro Lara team offered informative talks on topics focused on the digital age: networks, cybersecurity and the rights of children and adolescents in the digital environment.
