A total of 11,548 women, including 2,000 pregnant women, older adults, girls, adolescents and young people, were favored with a day of the Great Venezuela Women's Mission at the Hospital de Los Samanes in the state of Aragua.
The day included the deployment of seven
care vertices: health, educational missions, Misión Nevado, Misión José
Gregorio Hernández and other complementary programs that strengthen the
objective of the Great Mission. In particular, emphasis was placed on vertex
four, aimed at offering protection to women victims of
violence, by providing legal advice and guidance. In addition, cultural and ecosocial issues
were addressed with the objective of promoting a more equitable and conscious
society, a press release detailed.
The governor of the state of Aragua, Karina Carpio, reaffirmed her support for these initiatives in line with the guidelines of the national government. During the event, women were served in different areas such as health, education and telecommunications, which evidences the inclusion and diversity of the program.
