More than 1,500 people benefited from a day of care in Monagas

More than 1,500 people received completely free medical care and drugs during a day of social assistance held at the “Dr. José Gregorio Hernández” Type I Hospital in the Aguasay municipality in the state of Monagas.

The activity included specialized services in the areas of General Medicine, Gynecology, Epidemiology, Ophthalmology, Dentistry, Traumatology, Cardiology and Pediatrics; in addition, ultrasound, deworming, internal consultation, immunization and pharmacy services were provided.

In this regard, according to a press release from the Ministry of Health, the mayor of the Aguasay municipality, Rafael Sánchez Mérida, indicated that through these days the people are guaranteed their right to receive specialized medical care, in addition to providing protection and inclusion to the regional health system, complying with the guidelines of President Nicolás Maduro to bring the greatest possible amount of happiness to the Venezuelan people.
