More than 1.6 million units of insulin arrived in the country

A total of 1,600,251 units of insulin arrived in the country, as part of agreements between Venezuela and Russia, to provide care for patients with diabetes mellitus, said the Minister of Health, Magaly Gutierrez.
In a message published on her Telegram channel, the holder of the health portfolio explained that together with the drugs, 64,994 syringe pens and essential equipment arrived to continue strengthening the National Public Health System.
“The arrival of this important shipment is the direct result of contracts signed by the “Supply of Essential Drugs and with Reciprocal Investment Obligations”, signed between the Ministry of People's Power for Health, Espromed Bio, Corpovex and the Center for Productive Investments, and the “Technology Transfer” agreement with the Russian company Geropharm, to ensure the right to health and life of our people,” he said.
