More than 2 million 200 thousand people have been served by the Public Ministry in the last 7 years

The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, held a press conference this Tuesday to highlight the achievements of the Public Ministry (MP) over the past seven years, in connection with the institution's 55th anniversary.

In this regard, he highlighted the different plans implemented by the MP to serve the user exactly and guarantee Venezuelans their rights.

In this regard, he noted that during the time mentioned above, more than 2 million 200 thousand people have been treated in different areas, including 31 thousand 281 older adults, “and we have achieved the return of 3 thousand 52 properties that were owned by them and that had been illegally occupied.”

With regard to the fight against pedophilia, he specified that 84,381 people have been trained, “to avoid aggression against our children”, while noting that 2,614 activities have been carried out against bullying and 97,433 people have been trained.

“The program also programs the campaign against drug use and drug trafficking, which is called Drugs Destroy Your Family and in which 1,741 activities have been carried out and 80,387 people have been trained,” adding that 308.2 tons of drugs have been seized, with the support of auxiliary bodies, and managed to prosecute 7,097 convictions.

With regard to gender-based violence, he specified that the campaign Violence against Women is not reconciled, it has been reported, it has trained 12,536 people.
