More than 20 kilometers of road were equipped with
speed bumps and scratches in Tucupita, according to
information published on the web portal of the newspaper Última Noticias.
In this regard, the governor, Loa Tamaronis,
the works included stripes, placement of “cat eyes”,
signs, demarcation and speed reducers.
In addition, he stressed that this action represents an advance in
road, social and economic safety, “understanding that
food, medicines and other basic supplies enter this national highway.”
Tamaronis also reported that this same type of
work will soon begin in the northern zone, another important sector for agricultural
producers in Delta Amacuro.
