In order to promote tourism in the region, more than 500 people from the Guacara municipality were certified after participating in the Tourism Training Workshop, organized by the Ministry of Popular Power for Tourism, in partnership with the Government of the State of Carabobo, through the Secretariat for Tourism and Integral Economic Development and the Tourism Corporation.

These actions are part of the lines of work of the Plan of the Seven Transformations promoted by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, and led in the region by Governor Rafael Lacava, with the purpose of making Carabobo a leading state in tourism.

During the activity held at the Municipal Theater of Guacara, the Secretary for Tourism and Integral Economic Development of the state of Carabobo, Manuel Andrés Alonso, stressed that this program is part of the tourism sensitivity training cycle for young people and adults, which seeks to provide tools to optimize customer service for a more efficient service.

“This program is being carried out to all municipalities, so that young people and adults can echo this new way of life and productive economy, since we are aware that these tourism awareness programs serve so that we can adapt and improve existing infrastructure, improve customer service and make Carabobo a tourist reference,” he said.

For its part, the entity's sole tourism authority, Elyezer Álvarez, stressed that people trained in this cycle will be able to work hand in hand with municipalities to strengthen community tourism in a sustainable way throughout the state of Carabobo.
