From this Thursday until next Sunday, October 5, the National Cinematheque room located in the Museum of Fine Arts (MBA) becomes the epicenter of a unique cinematographic experience: the Russian Film Series, an exhibition that invites the Caracas public to immerse themselves in fascinating stories, diverse genres and cultural landscapes that cross borders.

Organized by the Ministry of People's Power for Culture, the National Cinematheque Foundation, the Russian Embassy in Venezuela and the Russian state cinema company Roskino. This cycle seeks to strengthen ties between both peoples through art and the universal language of cinema.

The titles that will be screened starting at 4:00 p.m., include the following selection:

  • Challenge: The first feature film shot in space, an unprecedented technical and narrative feat.
  • Luntik: Animation aimed at children and families, full of tenderness and teaching.
  • I Take a Step: Romantic melodrama that explores the nuances of love and decision.
  • Camachuelo: Drama set on the high seas that promises tension and emotional depth.

All functions are free and will be presented in dubbed or subtitled versions in Spanish, to ensure access and enjoyment for all attendees.

This cycle represents an opportunity to discover Russian cinematographic talent, explore new narratives and share in community the transformative power of the seventh art.
