Nahum Fernández: All Venezuelans join the battle for peace and independence of the country

The vice-president of mobilization and events of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Nahum Fernández, reaffirmed that today all Venezuelans are joining the battle for peace and independence of the country

“Faced with the aggressions of imperialism, the Venezuelan people go out to fight for peace, for independence and in defense of national sovereignty,” said Fernández, during the march in support of President Nicolás Maduro.

He also asserted that the high participation in the military enlistment days, convened by the head of state, demonstrate that Venezuelans are willing to defend the territory against any threat.

He emphasized that a great unity has been awakened throughout the territory to reject those who bet on war and who are always calling for the assassination of a people.

“Today the voices of fishermen, workers, housewives, ordinary people are rising; we are safe and determined to continue to keep Venezuela free and independent, we don't want the protection of any empire,” he said.
