Nahum Fernández announces location of illegal prison in the US with Venezuelan migrants

The Head of Government of the Capital District, Nahum Fernández, reported that during the last few hours it became known about the existence of a detention center in the United States where Venezuelan citizens have been deprived of their liberty for more than a year.

During the traditional burning of Judas on Los Carmenes street in the El Cementerio sector of the Santa Rosalía parish in the Libertador municipality, the official specified that it is a “recently discovered prison where Creole migrants remain illegally”.

He also asked the population to accompany in prayer the mothers and wives of Venezuelan women who are illegally deprived of their liberty in El Salvador after being deported from the United States. “We want to pray for them,” he said.

He took the opportunity to congratulate the organized community of the Caracas parish for the 84th day of the burning of Judas during Holy Week, while stressing that “they are already preparing for next year”.
