Nahúm Fernández: More than eight thousand farmers and fishermen will camp in Caracas for January 10

More than eight thousand peasants and fishermen from Venezuela will camp in Caracas, starting next January 08, in order to accompany the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, to take office in the National Assembly (AN), for a third consecutive term.

The information was provided by the head of Government of the Capital District (GDC), Nahúm Fernández, in the Central Courtyard of the Council of the Bolivarian Libertador Municipality of Caracas, where at a press conference together with Mayor Carmen Meléndez, they presented the Cultural Agenda for Peace and Joy: “January of Victories 2025".

Fernández specified that the camping will take place in the spaces of the Caracas Polyhedron.

The also vice-president of Mobilization and Events of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) assured that peasants and fishermen will prepare for the big day, with reference to next January 10, the date established in the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, for the inauguration and the beginning of a new presidential term.

He also noted that also starting January 08, another International Anti-Fascist Congress will be installed in the country, with more than “1,500 foreign participants”.

Both the camp and the congress are part of the Cultural Agenda for Peace and Joy: “January of Victoria 2025".
