The National Government, together with the mayor's office of the Girardot municipality and the organized Popular Power, are carrying out the replacement of one hundred meters of a main collector in the Tricolor neighborhood of the Pedro José Ovalles parish, in the capital of the state of Aragua.

These works, according to a press release from the municipality, will directly benefit more than 300 families.

The development of these works was supervised by the mayor of the aforementioned town, Rafael Morales, who explained that the work consists of the installation of one hundred linear meters of PVC pipe for wastewater.

In this regard, he appreciated the valuable collaboration of the Ministry of the People's Power for Water Care (Minaguas) and Hidrocentro, whose crews, together with staff from the Girardot mayor's office, were able to effectively solve this health problem in the sector, using backhoe machinery to speed up work.

Morales also announced future comprehensive improvements for the Tricolor Neighborhood. “We are going to replace all the equipment that the square here has. We're going to leave it spotless,” he said.

As for the next actions, the president indicated that the attention will be extended to other areas of San Carlos. “From here we will go to the CDI of San Carlos, where colleagues from these facilities have asked us for our support to intervene,” she explained, referring to the importance of addressing the health needs of the area.

Morales emphasized the transformative impact of the work: “We are very satisfied because we are already obtaining concrete results. At each meeting of our Self-Government Rooms, extraordinary solutions emerge, greater popular empowerment and a more robust community organization are the pillars of Girardot in the coming years.”
