Through an agreement, approved unanimously, the National Assembly (AN) expressed its support to the National Electoral Council (CNE) for convening the elections on April 27, where Venezuelans will democratically choose their representatives before the Parliament and legislative councils, as well as the governors and governors of the states.

The president of the AN, Jorge Rodríguez, proposed to the CNE that the latest laws approved by the Legislative Branch be taken into account, to prevent criminal groups and those who do not know the electoral results from participating, once again, in eligible elections in the country.
