National authorities attend to bridge collapse in Apure

This Sunday, National Government authorities were deployed in Apure state, to immediately deal with the collapse of the bridge that connects the town of Bruzual with Mantecal, after heavy rains in the region.

Through the social network Instagram, the Minister of Popular Power for Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayan, reported that, “following instructions from President Nicolás Maduro, the equipment was activated to restore the road passage through the installation of a war bridge”.

He stressed that the authorities are on alert to deal with any eventuality resulting from rainfall.

In the midst of the challenges posed by natural events, the national and regional governments, together with the Bolivarian National Armed Forces and the People's Power, promote protection mechanisms that respond effectively and closely to the needs of communities.
