Through her official account on the Telegram social network, the Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Leticia Gómez, held a meeting with the president of the tour operator Hover Tours, Marcelo Rimmaudo, and with the vice-president of the airline, Albatros Airlines, Marcos Uzcátegui, with the objective of talking about the promotion of air connectivity to and from Venezuela.
These initiatives are part of the Seven Transformations (7T) plan, proposed by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, to promote, position and commercialize the tourism potential of each region, through alliances to carry out training, awareness-raising and training programs.
In this regard, the national Government has implemented policies based on economic recovery with Motor Tourism, so in February of this year, a team of public servants from the Ministry of Popular Power for Tourism (MINTUR) and its affiliated entities were deployed, who participated in 37 assemblies in the national territory.
It should be noted that the objective of these meetings was to guide more than 3,000 people, including tourism service providers, students, tour guides, community leaders, businessmen, entrepreneurs and other actors in the sector.
