National Government delivered certified corn seeds to Neo-Spartan producers

In order to promote agricultural development in the state of Nueva Esparta, the Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (FUNDACITE), in conjunction with the Scientific-Peasant Alliance, delivered certified yellow and white corn seeds to 10 producers in the town of Hato Orinoco, in the municipality of Tubores.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MINCYT), the activity was carried out as part of the strategy to build solutions that ensure the good life of the people and strengthen food sovereignty in the island region.

This deployment seeks to consolidate the link between science, technology and production, promoting the well-being of communities.

With this day, the National Government, through the Great Mission of Science, Technology and Innovation Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán, strengthens the exchange of scientific knowledge and ancient knowledge.
