National leader on thwarted terrorist attack: Everything points to Colombian drug trafficking and Ecuadorian mafia

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, assured that after the dismantling of a criminal gang that had the plan to place an explosive device in a plaza in Caracas, arrests have continued and all roads lead to drug trafficking in Colombia and the Albanian mafia in Ecuador.

“In the next few hours, large seizures and arrests will be recorded, and new elements that participated in the failed attack have been captured. Now, in the next few hours, details will be given,” he said from the state of La Guaira.

“The implications of Colombian drug trafficking and the Ecuadorian mafia, the vestiges of what were the Venezuelan criminal gangs and the conspiracy of the fascist La Sayona, a criminal murderer, have been determined. This is a triangle that intended an attack (...), but in the face of sayonism there is the winning triangle, which is the perfect Popular-Military-Police Fusion,” he emphasized.

In that sense, he asserted that “the empire tries to flee forward and cover up the fact that we discovered them red-handed, but with nothing they do today or tomorrow or later they will cover up the fact that the Bolivarian Revolution, as (Simon) Bolívar said at the time, is truly powerful and victorious”.

The Head of State took the opportunity to express his support and gratitude to the police forces, SEBIN; CPNB, CICPC, FANB, DGCIM, bodies that defend a country's right to peace.

“I congratulate Diosdado Cabello for having prevented this terrorist attack, as well as the Commander of the Military House and DIGESIM, Javier Marcano Tábata, and may this town bless you and all the soldiers because we are victorious, let's not let us get out of the way, we are consolidated.”
