“The polls conducted in the United States (USA) are convincing; 68% of Americans do not want more interventions and wars, in other words, they are against the War Department's plan to fill the world with bombs,” said the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros.
During the 92nd broadcast of his program With Maduro+, the National President specified that also when asked about a military intervention in Venezuela, 62% of Americans express their rejection of such an action.
“It's blunt, American society doesn't want wars with anyone,” he emphasized while advising the U.S. government to deal with the serious problems facing North American society.
“The United States government, instead of being aware of the domestic politics of other countries, should focus on solving the serious problem of disposable poverty, as Pope Francis called them, they should deal with the pandemic of violence evidenced in shootings, massacres and even in churches because there is a lot of hate in that society, and it should focus on attacking the pandemic of addiction to hard chemical drugs,” he said.
“If you combine the misery of disposable drugs alongside the
polarization of violence and weapons, alongside hard chemical drugs, you have a dangerous cocktail that would deserve the attention of the United States Government, which is more aware of internal problems and not of meddling in the domestic politics of other countries,” he said.
