The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, said that the country's Magna Carta guarantees the peace that the people want.
“This people reject public calls for civil war, foreign intervention, blockade and sanctions. This People wants to have their affairs addressed and, by participating massively, to resolve the issues that concern the communities and our people in a comprehensive way,” said the Head of State from the Miraflores Palace, during the session of the Federal Governing Council.
Before the country's 24 governors and 335 mayors, he stressed that in Venezuela “we have very clear what our north is, our destiny (...) We have a clear planning guide: the Constitution, and for any problem plus Constitution so that there is peace, tolerance, coexistence, encounter and reunion of Venezuelans.”
