The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, recognized that the country's productive sector is riding a historic era of popular and direct democracy.

“We went from a parasitic economy, to a hundred-year-old parasitic society, dependent on oil revenues. When the missiles sent by imperialism to our economy fell, we had to reinvent ourselves, we reinvented ourselves and we went from a parasitic economy to a self-sufficient productive economy,” explained the Head of State.

He added that this productive capacity is not only to supply the community and the country, but to set great goals; since the coffee that is produced in the country represents a great export opportunity.

Venezuela is going to be the breadbasket of the world and Venezuela is going to conquer the world's markets with the best food products,” said the national dignitary.

The president is next to the first lady, Cilia Flores; the Minister of Popular Power for Communes, Social Movements and Urban Agriculture, Ángel Prado; the governor of the state of Miranda, Elio Serrano; and members of the Commune.
