National President: Venezuela defends the right of all migrants, migrating is not a crime!

President Nicolás Maduro expressed his support for the statement issued by the Venezuelan Ministry for Foreign Affairs warning of the dangers faced by Venezuelans of traveling to the United States and defending the right of migrants from the Latin American and Caribbean region who are subject to criminalization by the North American Government.

“I fully vindicate and support the statement,” he said and specified that Venezuela will maintain the defense of migrants against abuses by the United States.

“I think it tells pure truths, everything that is said there is true and it also advocates for the human rights of all Latin Americans and Caribbean people, not only do we advocate for our migrants who are being mistreated, persecuted, kidnapped, but for everyone because migrating is not a crime,” he said.
