National representative: Growth in commercial activity is estimated at 20% for this year

During his program With Maduro+, carried out from the state of La Guaira, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, stressed that, despite the actions promoted by opposition extremism and imperialism through economic and psychological war, Venezuela is registering an increase in commercial activity that will close in 2025 by no less than 20%.

“There is a great purchasing capacity of the Venezuelan people because we have been recovering our entry into a war economy, we have reinvented ourselves and well, we haven't reinvented ourselves,” said the head of state, who remarked that investments in trade include the inauguration of 30 supermarkets scheduled for the last quarter of this year.

He pointed out that, like commercial activity, it is estimated that this year the Venezuelan economy will record a growth of 9%. “A growth of the real economy, not driven by the price of oil because, on the contrary, the price of oil is falling due to a fall in consumption,” he said.

“They wanted to drown the economy of the people of Venezuela, they launched missiles against the oil industry, and Venezuela reinvented itself and we are producing more than 13,000 products,” he remarked.
