From Thursday, October 2nd to Sunday, October 5th, Venezuela will celebrate National Salsa Day with an intense program of concerts, talks and cultural activities throughout the country.

The initiative, organized by the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture, through the Cultural Mission and the Great Mission Viva Venezuela Mi Patria Querida, seeks to pay homage to this musical genre fundamental to Venezuelan identity.

In Caracas, the epicenter of the activities will be the Aquiles Nazoa Theater, headquarters of Corazón Salsero, located in the parish of San Juan, where on Thursday, October 2 and Friday, at 1:00 p.m., talks and concerts will be held with free admission, starring renowned music mixers from the capital, in a space designed for meeting, learning and enjoying the genre.

The stellar moment will come on Saturday, October 4, with the Grand Gala Concert in Alta Vista, Sucre parish, at 4:00 p.m., where emblematic figures of the national salsa will be presented, in an event not to be missed for lovers of rhythm and cadence.

Simultaneously, in the interior of the country, from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th, there will be performances by local groups and references in the genre, consolidating a showcase for Venezuelan talent and strengthening the cultural link between communities and the music that represents them.

With this celebration, Venezuela reaffirms its commitment to the promotion of salsa as a living expression of its diversity, history and popular passion.
