The National Tourism Institute (INATUR) launched a reforestation campaign in the heart of the municipality of Sucre, Mérida state, in collaboration with the Ministry of Popular Power for Ecosocialism and the National Park Institute (INPARQUES), together with the Indigenous Community of Quinanoque.

The activity, carried out as part of environmental protection and sustainable tourism initiatives, brought together volunteers, park rangers and local residents to revitalize a space of high ecological and cultural value. Every tree planted represents a commitment to the future, a root that extends to the defense of our landscapes, our traditions and our biodiversity.

“Caring for vegetation isn't just about preserving the environment: it's about protecting life, culture and the future of our communities,” said the regional ecosocialist team, stressing the value of inter-institutional and community coordination.
