This Thursday, a new flight from the Great Mission Back to the Homeland with 252 Venezuelan migrants “who were in Mexico” arrived at Simon Bolivar International Airport in Maiquetía, La Guaira state.

83 women, 59 men, 51 girls and 59 boys. of the Venezuelan State welcomed this new group of compatriots who arrived in the country after escaping persecution and acts of violence perpetrated by the United States Government.

After disembarking, migrants repatriated in Venezuela go through a migratory tunnel, where each person is interviewed to review their case; then they receive medical attention from state institutions, and then they are transferred to their homes by security agencies.

To date, more than 5,600 Venezuelan migrants have returned to the nation, as part of the effort promoted by the Bolivarian Government through the Great Mission Back to the Homeland to guarantee the safe return of compatriots
