Niger's Foreign Minister visits Venezuela to deepen strategic ties

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Nigerians Abroad of the Republic of Niger, Yaou Sangaré Bakary, arrived in Venezuela this Monday for an official visit aimed at consolidating cooperation and ties of friendship between the two nations.
According to information issued by the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry, “the Nigerian foreign minister was received at Simon Bolivar International Airport by the director general for Africa of the Ministry of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Marlon Peña Labrador”.
Last week , Sangaré Bakary and his Venezuelan counterpart, Yván Gil, held a meeting in New York, on the sidelines of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, in which they reaffirmed their mutual will to expand strategic cooperation between Latin America and Africa.
