The Vice President of Defense and National Sovereignty, Vladimir Padrino López, announced the conference “The Barracks Go to the People”, which will take place this Saturday, September 20, with the deployment of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) in 5,336 communal circuits across the country.
Padrino López emphasized that this activity responds to the call of the Chief Commander, Nicolás Maduro Moros, who seeks to strengthen the civic-military-police union in defense of national peace.
“We will leave our headquarters with our instructors and operators of the Bolivarian military system, to share with the people, talk about the legacy of our Commander Chávez and explain why we are fighting this fight. It's not a personal whim, it's a spiritual struggle, a fight for peace in the country,” he emphasized.
He urged communities to welcome the troops with enthusiasm and patriotic spirit:
“Get ready there in your communities to receive us. We will be a single mass: a popular, military and police union, to continue strengthening it, building it and orienting it to the ends of the comprehensive defense of the country,” he said.
Padrino López stressed that the FANB reaffirms its commitment to sovereignty, national cohesion and the historical legacy of Commander Hugo Chávez, inviting the Venezuelan people to actively participate in this day of encounter, training and unity.
