Parachute Infantry Brigade confirms its loyalty and protection to President Nicolás Maduro

This Saturday, August 9th, the 42nd Parachute Infantry Brigade “Commander Hugo Chávez” issued a public statement in unrestricted support and loyalty to the National President, Nicolás Maduro and the Venezuelan people, in the face of the recent aggressions of North American imperialism.

The statement was released through the official Instagram account of the head of the Strategic Operational Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (CEOFANB), G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez.

In the statement issued by the commander of the 42nd Parachute Infantry Brigade “Commander Hugo Chávez”, Brigadier General Douglas Enrique Pérez Soto, emphasized that “the Bolivarian National Armed Forces are called to guarantee the independence, sovereignty and integrity of the territory, and therefore, stands firm in the protection of the head of state.”

In this regard, he points out that “in the face of recent statements by the United States government, which increased the reward for the capture of the Constitutional President, Nicolás Maduro Moros, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces reaffirms its unwavering commitment to the defense of national sovereignty,” he said.
