Parathlete Sele Barrios won the gold medal at the Olmouc Grand Prix in the Czech Republic

The Venezuelan parathlete, Sele Barrios, won the gold medal in the 800 meter class T20 event with a time of 2:23.62 in the Grand Prix of Olmouc, in the Czech Republic.

Barrios, was accompanied on the podium by the Hungarian representative Ilona Biacsi who recorded 2:28.58 and won the silver one and the Czech Pavlina Absolonova closed the podium in third place, with 2:29.31.

Jhuliannis Mujica, on the other hand, recorded a better personal record in the 200 meters T35 and 36.87 in the 200 meters T35. The race was won by South Korea's Min Jae Jeon (T36) with 32.03; followed by Finland's Vilma Berg (30.35) and Aamu Hulmi (30.84) for second and third place in the race, according to the Ministry of Sport press.

In the final of the F35 class bullet impulse, Mujica left attempts of 3.46; 3.47 and 3.48 meters, the latter placing her in sixth place in the definition of the test.

The winner in the category was the British Anna Nicholson, with 9.24; accompanied by the local representative Anna Luxova (9.16) and Dilafruzkhon Akhmatkhonova from Uzbekistan, with 8.76.

Finally, Katheryn Pinto also saw action during the first day in the adapted 200-meter T47 classification where she set a time of 28.86, which placed her fifth best in the race in which the Hungarian Petra Luteran won with 26.31.
