Parathletes Daniel Rivero and Rafael Uribe won gold and silver medals for Venezuela in France

Venezuelan
parathletes Daniel Rivero and Rafael Uribe won
gold and silver medals, respectively, in the Adapted Athletics Grand Prix that
takes place at the Sébastien Charléty stadium in Paris, France.
Rivero won the first gold metal for the Venezuelan delegation, after winning
the 100 meters class T35, with a time of 13.79; the silver one was French Yannis Maubourguet, with 14.37, and the
bronze one for the representative of Hong Kong, Yiu Bao, with 14.49.
For
his part, Uribe won a silver medal in the long jump class T42/T44/T63 with a jump
of 1.95 meters, surpassed only by Maciej Lepiato, from Poland, with 2.01 m. While the third place on the podium was occupied by the
Hindu Shailesh Kumar with 1.86 m.
On the
other hand, Eiyerman Monzón finished among the best five of the 100-meter T47 category.
The Venezuelan crossed the finish line in fourth place with a record of 11.89.
The Venezuelan delegation has accumulated three medals in the Grand Prix of Paris 2025: one gold, one silver and one bronze.
