People of Nueva Esparta took to the streets in support of President Nicolás Maduro

Under slogans of unity and
patriotic commitment, the People of Nueva Esparta gathered this Monday on La
Marina street in Porlamar to participate in the mobilization in rejection of
fascist actions and imperialist aggressions against Venezuela.
Also, during this mobilization organized
by the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), the New Spartans expressed their
support for President Nicolás Maduro and reaffirmed their commitment to national sovereignty.
The activity was accompanied by the governor
of Nueva Esparta, Marisel Velásquez, together with the 10 Bolivarian mayors,
deputies to the National Assembly, legislators and other leaders of the entity.
During his speech, Velásquez assured that
the Neo-Spartan people are in the streets in “defense of the Homeland of Bolivar and
Chávez, accompanying President Maduro in the fight against imperialism.”
At the same time, he described the opposition aligned
with foreign interests as “fascist terrorists and drug traffickers.”
During the mobilization, the People reaffirmed that Nueva Esparta, like the entire country, will continue to resist external attacks and ratified their commitment to the Bolivarian Revolution.
