Medical personnel from the National Public Health System were deployed in the Caño Iguana indigenous community in the Manapiare municipality of the state of Amazonas to provide comprehensive care to those who live there.

This was reported by the Minister of Health, Magaly Gutierrez, through her Instagram account where she explained that the original Hotï people received general medicine services, immunization, malaria screening and drug delivery.

“Even in hard-to-reach jungle municipalities, the entire National Public System reaches out to guarantee the entire population a better quality of life free of charge,” said the minister.
