This Tuesday, the deployment of the “Caracas Smile” plan began in the parish of La Vega, with the purpose of providing multisectoral care to the inhabitants of the southwest of Caracas, as reported by Mayor Carmen Meléndez, who announced through social networks that the camp that will facilitate work in the area has already been set up.
Meléndez stressed that this plan contemplates its implementation in the 22 parish divisions of the capital city, with the execution of public works, rehabilitation works and various community services aimed at collective well-being.
He stressed that the strategy seeks to optimize institutional processes through the eradication of unnecessary procedures, the promotion of accessible administration and the promotion of a modern Caracas, through direct listening to the approaches made by community councils and neighborhood organizations.
In addition, this action allows the residents of La Vega to present proposals aimed at the progress of their environment, promoting spaces for encounter and social cohesion. The programming of the operation was activated on June 8 and will continue to take place in different areas of the metropolis.
