Plan Cayapa Heroica recovered surgical microscopes at the Domingo Luciani Hospital

The Cayapa Heroica National Plan, promoted by the Ministry of Popular Power for Science and Technology (Mincyt), continues to strengthen Venezuelan public health, this time with a high-impact approach to the ophthalmology service of the Dr. Domingo Luciani Hospital, in Miranda state, where two surgical microscopes essential for eye interventions were repaired and put into operation.

The activity consisted of a specialized technical deployment to diagnose and solve the faults that kept these medical equipment inoperative.

According to a MINCYT press release, the rehabilitation of these microscopes is of vital importance for the health center, considering that the replacement of this technology will optimize the quality of the consultation and speed up the performance of surgeries, directly benefiting the population that comes to this institution.

This action is part of the month that celebrates the seventh anniversary of the Cayapa Heroica National Plan, an initiative created in 2018 and which brings together research and technical professionals from all over the country.
