More than 200 people from the Santa Rufina II community, in the municipality of Biruaca, in the state of Apure, were treated with a medical day, as part of the More Years, More Love plan.

Specifically, immunization services, ultrasound, blood pressure measurement, general medicine consultations, otorhinolaryngology and drug distribution were offered.

The activity also offered an educational talk on the types of abuse and the rights of older adults, with the intention of sensitizing families about protection and respect for this population.

“These days go hand in hand with the regional government plan of the Seven Transformations (7T), aimed at strengthening the National Public Health System (SPNS). Comprehensive care for the elderly is one of the priorities of this program, with the objective of guaranteeing access to free medical services and raising awareness about their well-being,” said Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).
